What is it to be motivated?
You are motivated when you are feeling confident and positive. You have the energy and drive to move forward with actions. Your thoughts are positive (like “I am awesome!”) and you feel positive all over; you stand up straight, your head is up and you are highly awake. This leads to you being full of ideas and actioning them straight away. It is very easy to loose track of time when you are highly motivated.
This is the optimal place mentally to be in.
Why is it Important to be motivated?
Motivation provides the fuel, the energy and momentum that makes action happen. Think about motivation as the petrol for your car, without it the car goes no-where, but with it you can drive anywhere. And like petrol your motivation needs topping up at times, and you want to use the best fuel for your vehicle possible, thus the best motivation levels to keep moving forward.
Motivation comes from a belief in yourself, your ability and your idea. It takes a certain mental attitude to be motivated, to know it is possible to achieve something. And it takes a certain mental attitude to stay motivated and motivate yourself in the tougher times.
